How many CD/DVD Discs will it take to hold my photos?
For film and video tapes it will take 1 DVD for every 2 hours of video. For image discs the quantity varies by scan resolution, size of photos, and even content. Our standard scan resolution of 600 DPI JPEG files can fit arround 120 4x6 photos to a CD. A DVD can hold aproximately 6 times as many photos as a CD. We can also put your photos onto a portable hard drive which can hold more than 50 DVDs worth.

What is the best resolution for my photos?
Our standard resolution is 600 DPI for photos and 3000 DPI for slides. We offer a lower scan of 300 DPI for photos and 1000 DPI for slides. This lower resolution is good for emailing or putting your photos on the web but is not adequate for having prints made from the images.
